Darton Sleeves, a division of Darton International Inc., has been sold in a 100% stock sale transaction to Kusalava Inc., a Houston-based distributor and wholly owned subsidiary of Kusalava International Ltd., a family-owned manufacturer and foundry located in India.
Kusalava has been the primary supplier of cylinder sleeves to Darton for more than 20 years. During that time, Darton has established itself as the highest-quality U.S. manufacturer of cylinder sleeves for the racing and performance market, serving over 8,000 customers worldwide.
Darton Sleeves, headquartered in Carlsbad, California, will retain all management, staff, and workforce, with the exception of Dave Clinton, the founder, who will be retiring from his full-time role and serving as an advisor to the company’s management.
